Welcome to Internal Harmony Acupuncture
Thank you for stopping by! At Internal Harmony Acupuncture I use the various modalities of Chinese medicine to address physical and emotional imbalances that, overtime, can stress the body and manifest as joint/muscle pain, headaches, allergies, insomnia, gastrointestinal issues and fatigue. I consider all aspects of your life to determine the root cause of your condition to arrive at a treatment strategy that addresses your unique situation.
If you are interested in discussing whether your specific condition is a good candidate for treatment, please contact me with your questions, come in for a complimentary consult or simply book an appointment.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a more than 2,000 year old medical tradition, which can be used to bring each individual to a state of internal balance as well as create harmony with the changing external environment thereby preventing disease.
At Internal Harmony Acupuncture we focus on treating each person as a whole as opposed to only treating the pathology and disease. Each treatment will be specific to you and your condition as it changes over time. You will have my complete attention during your session.
Chinese medicine believes that disease arises from the inability of the body to adjust to internal and external excesses and deficiencies. These imbalances can manifest as different symptoms. Rather than simply addressing and resolving the symptoms, acupuncture and other forms of Chinese medicine treat the underlying cause of the symptoms (the root pattern). Following this principle, various unrelated Western diseases may have the same underlying root pattern and are therefore treated similarly regardless of the disease name. Accordingly, the same disease in different individuals may have varying root patterns and are treated differently. There are 4 factors that contribute to developing illness: environment, emotional responses, lifestyle, and heredity/constitution. Any one or a combination of these factors over time can result in disharmony in one's body system both physically, energetically and emotionally. Chinese medicine can address these imbalances on all of these levels.
Chinese medicine consists of several modalities. Acupuncture is just one modality of Chinese medicine. Any one or a combination of the following therapies may be used to address your condition: acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, herbal formulas, gua sha.
